Formal Complaint – Early Closure Without Notification

Dear Xfinity Customer Support,

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent experience at your Vacavile office on 08/14/25.

My wife arrived at the office prior to the posted closing time of 7:00 PM to return a modem. She, along with several other customers, waited outside for approximately 20 minutes. During that time, no staff member came outside to address the waiting customers, nor was there any sign posted indicating that the office had closed early.

It was evident that staff members were inside the building talking, yet no effort was made to inform those waiting that the office was closed. This lack of communication is both unprofessional and disrespectful to customers who have taken the time to come in person.

If your office must close earlier than the posted hours, it is reasonable to expect clear communication — such as a visible “Closed” sign placed outside and/or a staff member advising customers upon arrival. This would prevent unnecessary frustration and wasted time.

I request that you review this matter, ensure staff adhere to posted business hours, and implement proper customer communication procedures when early closures are unavoidable.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,
Eric T.
