Formal complaint – unable to contact customer service during outage

My internet has been down since this morning. I understand there is an outage, but my complaint is about Xfinity customer service, not troubleshooting.

Your phone system and Xfinity Assistant are refusing to let me speak with a live representative because there is an outage at my address. The Assistant specifically tells me that I will only be able to connect with an agent after the outage clears.

I have very poor cellular reception at home and without Wi-Fi I effectively have no reliable phone or internet connection. I had to go outside just to get enough cellular signal to contact Xfinity.

I need this complaint documented and I need to speak with a representative. Please have Xfinity Support contact me by Direct Message.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We do apologize for any inconvenience you had reaching out to an Xfinity agent.

We're here to help; you've reached the right team that can assist you with all your needs.

Your cellular reception depends on your location relative to the towers, so if you have low cell reception at your home only with your mobile services, then it's an issue with your location and your home and you may need some type of cellular booster to boost your signal while you're at home

Hi there, your customer service has become AI slop and is actively hanging up on your paying customers during times where they need a human to speak to. This kind of service is going to result in people cancelling their service with you. I’m actively going through this now and can tell you I’m looking for a new provider. This should be elevated to someone high enough in the company to have some mindfulness about how you treat your current customers.
