Fraud Report

I am an Xfinity cell customer. Why did I receive what appeared to be a mandatory eSIM upgrade? iPhone 13. I accepted it, though I couldn't figure out how not to. Then I see a new phone # with a 469 area code seems to have been assigned. Also, received a text message from what appears to be Verizon with VZWVVM:STATUS:... What is this, should I be concerned? How do I resolve this?

Thanks for reaching out to us, and we do apologize for any inconvenience. Xfinity doesn't send out mandatory eSIM upgrades. https://www.xfinity.com/hub/mobile/sim-swap-port-fraud

You should contact Xfinity Mobile Fraud: Call (888) 565-4329.  And report the fraud https://www.xfinity.com/support/account-management/sim-port-fraud-reporting
