Getting [Edited] on costs

I have been a customer for 32 years and have a $40 credit. Now I want to change services slightly. Suddenly my $40 credit dissappears.

I no longer qualify for the credit because I made 1 change.

I have been in to discuss twice but today Suddenly I have to produce a driver's license before they will talk to me. I get [Edited: "Language"] every time I try to talk to someone at Xfinity.
