Guide and DVR functionality

I don't believe that the group of people that developed the channel guide actually use it. The functionality is awful! You could be scrolling down the channels at 5pm and it will randomly move over a half hour as if the channel is available, then it prompts you to record etc. Joke! I have DVR capability and at times I go to payback any part of what I'm watching and it acts as if I just changed to that channel and I cannot go backwards. I'm sick of the sub par functions for prime pricing. The return does not warrant the investment.  I'm going to start looking elsewhere for both homes.
