Home Voice issues
1. I have tried 3 times to reach out for technical support for my home landline service. First, my phone was not ringing from certain phone numbers such as from the city of springfield, my local pharmacy and numbers from the state of Massachusetts. They appeared to be blocked for some reason. I have spent hours trying to do self service. I did unplug my modem and it seemed to help a little bit but not with all numbers. So I thought I was all set.
2. I have been with comcast for more than 39 years and support is utterly useless.
3. 3/20 spent over an hour on the phone with a rep, she left me on hold for so long, the line disconnected. I just need help with my landline phone so that I am not missing calls. The next day, I received an email from xfinity thanking me for adding streaming save for $18.00. What [Edited: "Language"] is this?
4. I then reached out to chat support, again more than an hour on with another rep, I asked that the $18.00 and this service be cancelled immediately. He proceeded to impress on me that he could help me with changing my services and he could help me reduce my bill. I am not looking to change my service, I just want help with my xfinity landline service. He said he could have someone call me back, I asked that the call back be scheduled after 3:30pm. After arguing with him for over an hour, I admit I was done and rudely ended the chat.
5. 10 minutes later I received a phone call asking me how can they help me, I asked this women if she could see my notes from the previous chat, she then said she would look up my account regarding the $18.00. I didn't need her to look up my account. I want technical help with my voice xfinity services. I have had landline voice services for over 30 years. What's the problem with getting help? She told me there was no one available to help for another 2 days. I didn't realize she meant that someone was not available to come out to my home. I really thought someone should be able to help me over the phone. So, again I was rude and hung up on her. I then received a message confirming my appointment in 2 days.
6. One of the calls I was waiting for came through the next day, so again I thought I was all set, so I cancelled the appointment.
7. Lo and behold, my entire voice mail set up was out of whack!!!! My phone was ringing but now the number of rings was 10 and no one could leave a voicemail. Again, I spent hours trying to self serve myself on setting up my landline voicemail. I was able to change the number of rings but NO VOICEMAIL is recording.
THIS IS MY CONCERN AND I NEED HELP!!!!
My partner is in his 80's I am also elderly, we do not use cell phones and do not use apps. Being elderly we rely on this landline especially for emergencies and call backs from doctor's etc.
I would like to reschedule this appointment as soon as possible. Please do not give me instructions that require me to sign into the app.
I would appreciate a call back to my home landline [Edited: "Personal Information"] from a live person.
This is urgent!!!
After 39 years of being a customer, I do not feel appreciated for my loyalty. I just need help.
