how do I omit my voicemail from the services comcast provides to my home?

Hi

I was on the line for an hour and they could not diagnose the problem, which was a stutter dial tone. it escalated to the advanced tech support and they too were unable to remedy the problem. Then they sent a tech over , and he stated that a stutter dial tone was normal. After about 45 minutes I finally asked him if we should try calling and sure enough, xfinity put the voicemail feature back on my line w/o telling me. Crazy huh?

How do i remove the feature from my 1FR line ?

Good morning, thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums, user_e19524. I would be happy to help you make changes to the features for your landline. To get started, please send me a direct message with your full name, address and four digit PIN for your phone service. Once we authenticate the account we can look at removing your voicemail.

To send a "Direct Message":

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
