How to get an XB10?

Hello, I stopped by my local Xfinity store to try to upgrade my router to the XB10 and they didn't have any in stock. They directed me to call but I can't seem to get through to a live agent easily. I have, what I believe, is the highest speed tier and would like the XB10 to take full advantage of it. Can you please advise how I can get one either shipped to me or my local store? Thank you so much in advance!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Good afternoon @robd54, and thanks for submitting a post today. Our XB10 gateways are currently only available for our customers on the XClass of internet service. Are you currently on that internet tier?

I believe I am, I have the 2100/300 speed tier to my knowledge and would consider the XClass if I don't have it.  Please advise and thank you!

Thanks for confirming. That internet tier is not an XClass speed tier. You can find more information about it here https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/xclass. On that site, you'll also be able to sign in to see if it is available at your location. Let us know if you have any further questions.

[Edited: "Inflammatory" the Gigabit X2 2100/300 is part of the X-Class

Xfinity X-Class Internet offers symmetrical download and upload speeds with unlimited data, using DOCSIS 4.0 technology. The plans include X-300, X-500, X-Gig, and X-2Gig, offering speeds from 300 Mbps up to 2 Gbps. These plans also include unlimited data and are available in select areas. Here's a breakdown of the X-Class plans:
  • X-300: Download and upload speeds of 300 Mbps.
  • X-500: Download and upload speeds of 500 Mbps.
  • X-Gig: Download and upload speeds of 1,000 Mbps (1 Gigabit).
  • X-2Gig: Download and upload speeds of 2,000 Mbps (2 Gigabits). X-Class plans are designed for customers who need high-speed, symmetrical internet with unlimited data, particularly in areas where DOCSIS 4.0 technology has been deployed. They also require a specific Xfinity Gateway, such as the XB10, for optimal performance. And i spoke to Xfinity Representative Sam and he confirmed that the internet plan i'm on is part of the X-Class because i'm on the same plan as you robd54
