I can not get my xfinity email address in microsoft outlook

I can not use my Xfinity email address in Microsoft Office Outlook.

Good evening user_kkl51l. I understand how important email is. We will be happy to assist you with this. I do have a few questions to help me better assist you. Are you accessing your email on Outlook on a mobile device, or a computer? Have you recently changed your Xfinity email account password? When were you last able to access your email?

I have not changed my password. I can login by going to the Xfinity email webpage, but my password is being rejected on Microsoft Outlook app on my Windows 11 laptop. This just started a day or 2 ago. Did Xfinity make port # changes?

Thank you for confirming, @user_kkl51l! I am not aware of any recent changes but we did have a very similar issue earlier this year from an Outlook update as we discussed in chat. Were you able to remove and then add the email box to see if the password message stops coming up?

yes I removed it . I tried adding it back to Outlook app on my computer and it wouldn't accept it.

I appreciate you trying these steps. They usually fix the issue. Is it still coming up with the password error when you try to add it back or do you see a different error, @user_kkl51l? Are you using New Outlook or Classic Outlook?

It’s still not working. 
I am using Outlook from Microsoft Office 2019. 
I also have Outlook Classic on my laptop and it does not work on it.
