I have devices that show weak and are constantly dropping off my network. [Edit]

I qualify for the WiFi Boost guarantee as I am an Ultimate TV Gigabit subscriber.  How do I get the WI FI Boost Pods for my home?

I have done all the requirements of downloading the Xfinity App and Testing...

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thanks for reaching out — we know how frustrating it is when your devices won’t stay connected, especially when you’ve already gone through the steps to troubleshoot.

It’s awesome that you’ve already downloaded the Xfinity app and run the test — that’s exactly what we recommend to check coverage in your home. Since you're on our Ultimate TV Gigabit plan and meet the WiFi Boost Guarantee requirements, you should be eligible for free WiFi Boost Pods if the test confirmed weak coverage.

Here’s what to do next:

  • Open the Xfinity app and tap on the WiFi tab

  • Select “Check Your Coverage” (if you haven’t already)

  • If the app confirms you need a Pod, you’ll see a prompt to order one right there in the app

If you ran the test but didn’t see the option to order, double-check that the app is fully updated. Still not seeing it? We’ve got your back — just let us know, and we’ll look into this further for you.

So I scheduled an appointment with the Xfinity Tech and they came out and didn't have a WiFi Boost Pod in their truck to even test if it would help the WiFi coverage in the house...

What should I do now?  I would like to at least see if they would help before I have to spend a lot of money on an Orbi....

I'm disappointed that Xfinity keeps trying to dodge their Boost Guarantee commitment!

Rvande4 Thank you for your feedback. I would like to take a moment to talk about our WiFi Boost Guarantee.

To be eligible for WiFi Boost Guarantee, you’ll need to:

Subscribe to Xfinity Internet in an eligible area with Gig, Gigabit Extra or Gigabit x2 speed plans.*
Lease a compatible gateway.
Download and activate the Xfinity app.
Have an account that’s in good standing.

The Xfinity WiFi Boost Guarantee provides eligible customers with compatible Xfinity Gateways additional support for connected devices in the home. After performing a Network Health Check in the Xfinity app, eligible customers may receive up to two WiFi Boost Pods and an in-home technician visit, if recommended, to help get a strong WiFi signal on connected devices in the home.

Here’s how it works:

Test your network in the Xfinity app to check your speeds and view connection strength.
After, we’ll provide troubleshooting tips in the Xfinity app. If you’re still experiencing connectivity issues, you may be eligible for a WiFi Boost Pod.
If your difficulties continue, you can use the Xfinity app to schedule a free tech visit for in-home support and testing.
After assessing your home network, our technician may recommend a second WiFi Boost Pod to improve your WiFi signal.

If you meet the eligibility criteria for the WiFi Boost Guarantee and a WiFi Boost Pod is recommended, the Pod is provided subject to a three-year equipment installment plan where the total value of the WiFi Boost Pod (currently, $119 for one Pod) will be credited in equal installments over 36 months. If you disconnect Xfinity services or downgrade Xfinity Internet to a tier below Gigabit prior to the end of the 36-month period, then you’ll be responsible for paying any balance remaining on the equipment installment.

If your connectivity issues persist, you may be eligible for a second WiFi Boost Pod and/or a free technician visit to troubleshoot your WiFi. The second WiFi Boost Pod will be provided on the same basis as the first.

The Techs do not have the WiFi Pods with them as they get sent to you by a third party. The tech appointment is part of the Guaranteee but does not mean they have pods.

*Customers who only receive Xfinity services through bulk or similar arrangements through which services are paid by a third party are not eligible for the WiFi Boost Guarantee unless such customers have established individually billed accounts and satisfy the above-referenced eligibility requirements.

@Rvande4 Did you receive the email from our In-Home Assessment Test team? They would provide a link for you to claim your Wi-Fi Boost Pod.

Please refrain from sharing your personal contact information publicly. Rvande4 can you check if that email was received in your spam folder perhaps?
