I have no service. Cable on street. Xfinity tells me there are no outages and wants me to restart my modem. I need a human. So angry.
I work from home and have had no cable going on three weeks. For weeks I’ve been unable to explain to any humans that a tree fell through the cable line because they said there was an outage in my area. Now they are texting that the outage is fixed though it is not at my house and no cable line is connected to my house. I still can’t reach a human and I don’t think I’m even in a queue for service since I’m getting text messages saying my service is back even though it isn’t. I’ve been paying $200-300 per month for about 14 years and find it unbelievable that they can’t afford to pay any humans to log your issues and make appointments and avoid completely wasting our time with robots. How can I speak with a human being? And I want my money back as it looks like it’ll be a month without internet soon. I got a text saying I’d get a $40 credit and that ain’t gonna cut it. I need to know that Xfinity knows a line is on the ground partially in the street and that they understand that I don’t just need to restart my modem as the bot keeps asking me to do.
