install fee?

I am  a former employee I took early retirement, i currently have courtesy services. Had a house fire last september and had to relocate when i moved back to permanent house had a difficult time getting services transfered anyhow finally got things transferred the box quit working so I got on the chat the guy said i would have to have someone come out and there wouldnt be a charge anyhow they charged me 100.00 to come out to change out the cable box. Is there any way to get this waived since it was a service problem and not a install? If you could call or email me back I would appreciate it. tried to email [Edit: Personal information] came back as not a good email address.
