Internet has been down for 3 days - I need to get internet support from a human

Our internet service dropped on Thursday 6/28/2025 at approximately 11:00 PM. The light on the modem was flashing. I called xfinity support and cycled power on the modem which didn't fix the problem. I checked the cable connections on the modem. A level 1 technician called me back and had me check some connections but that didn't help resolve the issue. I am certain that the problem is software related. When I try to connect a TV using a firestick I get a message saying that the wi-fi network is up but there is no internet connection. On several occasions this weekend the problem has cleared up and I have been able to use the internet for a few hours, then the internet has dropped again. If I have service at all, even intermittently, the problem is not connectivity.

I have an appointment scheduled for July 1, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A visit from a technician may or may not resolve the issue. It is true that the diagnostic software the level 1 technicians use cannot detect the modem. That said, the connection setup (in the software) needs to be reviewed and possibly corrected.

Please tell me how I can contact a knowledgeable human being and get my service restored. Having to wait days for a technician who may or may not be able to solve the issue is not making me a happy camper.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
