Well I purchased a $10 Xfinity now Wi-Fi pass the last for 30 days, it Powers two devices which is my cell phone and my ONN 4K streaming device. My phone's Wi-Fi very seldom lose the signal and when it does is bounces right back. But my o n n 4K streaming device will lose signal for hours at a time. I will forget the Xfinity on my Wi-Fi list of names and reconnect with it and it won't come back. I will unplug my o n n from the wall and replug it and sometimes the Wi-Fi signal will connect. How can I get it to permanently stay on?
Hi there, @user_w2uqhq Thank you for that additional information. Smart TVs and streaming sticks like the ONN 4K often struggle with Xfinity hotspots because they lack a built-in web browser to handle the network's login/sign-in page. To fix the constant dropouts and keep it permanently connected have you tried the following? Since the ONN device doesn't open the Xfinity sign-in page natively, you can trigger the portal. Go to Settings > Network on your ONN device and select the xfinitywifi network. Look for an option that says Sign In or Use Network. Alternatively, open the built-in browser app on the ONN device (like JioPages or Puffin TV) and type neverssl.com or xfinity.com to force the login prompt to appear.
