Ipad scam/delete account

Hi returned ipad from scam and after almost a month rep calls and says I need to have delete Apple account. Apple needs IMEI# company address and proof of receipt to start the process to erase device. I thought this nightmare was over.

@user_r5s7fm Thanks for creating a post. I would recommend speaking with our Customer Security Assurance Team to report any potential scam or phishing attempt for further review. I know that with any device return with Xfinity Mobile, you would only need to make sure the Find My Device and Stolen Device Protection have been disabled before returning.
