loss of email service

When the technician set up my email service with Comcast, I was assured that I could continue to use my att.net email address. That has worked for a few years now, but apparently the switch to Yahoo has cut me off from all email. The info you have on how to update my email (Apple Mail) doesn't match anything my computer is showing me, so rather than doing anything that might cause problems to get worse, I'm hoping you can tell me how to get my email--and, since hundreds of people have the att.net address, I want to get mail sent to that address. Thank you for any guidance. (I never did get a notice from you about the intended change -- but perhaps that is because of the att.net address, as well.) HELP.

user_84adkf Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your email. This conversion only impacted customers' Comcast.net email addresses. You may have had your att.net email address linked to be able to view your messages in one place, but changing to Yahoo would not have impacted your other providers' email accounts. If you never received the message, you may not have been changed yet, since each customer starts getting alerts 30 days before the chance. Also, once your account has transitioned, there are terms that you would need to agree to complete the transition. If you by some chance did miss those notices, you would see an alert when you log in to your account at Xfinity.com.

Once transitioned, however, if your att.net email is still active with AT&T, you can link your Yahoo account to that as well.
