Lost a six year customer

My bill was $188 a month. It was high, but I understood that I was getting the higher-end package. One day, I noticed my bill went up to $238 a month. So I called customer service to see what the problem was. They said that I am off my promotion and that’s the price. I tried to adjust my bill to better fit my budget, but they could only offer me the lowest Internet service at 300 MB a second in a cut rate TV program for $179. After about three hours on the phone, my service being cut down to a quarter of its former glory, we were able to settle on $193 a month until I could get my affairs in order to quit Xfinity. They have no issues with me leaving whatsoever. They did not try to get me on a promotion. They offer a new customers $50 a month five year guaranteed 500 MB a second Internet. Had a five-year guaranteed cost, that’s not a promotion really at that point, that’s just the price. Why can’t a loyal customer of six years have that price? I really don’t understand and wish I could just keep my service and more importantly I wish I was respected after six years of loyal payment. The years of disrespect in being unappreciated have just been too much. I have a feeling there will probably be a rebrand of Xfinity because you stand outside an Xfinity store for about 30 minutes. You will see about six people turning in their boxes. They’re probably done too.

user_d8qwgx Thanks for reaching out about your decision to leave due to promotions not being where you would like at this time. We do value our long time customers, and we are happy to confirm the best rates we can find for you if you like. I can't offer a new customer pricing given they are a one time only offer for new service, but we do offer exsisting customers new promotions when old ones run out. I would be happy to review what I can find for you while not reducing services if I can.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?
