Loyalty discount terms/conditions

I have Xfinity internet and cellphone. I called today to cancel the cellphone service because I found a better price elsewhere. The representative I spoke to told me that if I cancelled my cellphone service, I would lose the loyalty discount on my internet service ($40 / month). Has anyone experienced this? I didn’t see this contingency on any of my bills, emails, etc and when I asked the representative for a copy of the terms/conditions of my service, she told me that it doesn’t exist. Does anyone have terms/conditions for the loyalty discount, or can anyone confirm that I will lose the internet discount if I cancel cell service? Thanks!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
