Hi there! Thanks for following the steps to help with this change. Have you tried a different browser or clearing cache and cookies?

Here are the options that you have for the change:

Option 1: Accept Yahoo TOS

  • Retain your @comcast.net email address.
  • Continue using your email using Yahoo Mail with enhanced spam protection and calendar integration.
  • Gain access to 20 GB storage, mobile access, and AI-powered features.

Option 2: Export your data

  • Use the Xfinity Email Data Transfer Tool at export.comcast.com to download your emails and contacts or simply close your account.
    • This is ideal if you plan to switch to a different email provider.

Option 3: Do nothing (opt-out)

  • Your email account will be closed.
  • All data will be deleted within 60 days.

To learn more about the Yahoo Mail move and what to expect, including a Yahoo Mail welcome video, customers can visit: welcome.yahoo.com.

You are not understanding--I have done that--it is keeping me in an endless loop of signing in again...I cannot progess to the migration/transfer options.  So I am trying to meet your request but your xfinit links are not working to help me achieve this.  HELP.  Try this yourself--you will see what is happening.  Log in, then told to log in and told to log in...nothing takes me to the location of the execution of the choices and transfer of files.  Nor even if I wanted to stick with Yahoo, can I even see that.  Just try it--you will see.  HELP.  I need to get this done and xfinity is just not providing updated accurate links that work.

This is NOT an accepted nor acceptable answers becuase your reply does not take account of the reality I have described.  Your xfinity message telling me to take action, then provides the link, does nothing except ask me to log on, then I log in and I told to log in again. The only thing that does is take me to my existing email account with xfinity--it does NOT take me to the migration matter and ability to take steps.  YOUR REPLY IS NOT ACCEPTED AS RESPONSIVE TO MY PROBLEM.

Thank you so much, I appreciate you giving that a try. Do not worry we can assist with this. May I please ask that you send us a direct message here? We can check if there is anything on the account preventing you from accessing the links or submit a ticket for the site to be worked on if this is a more widespread issue.

To send a direct message:

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

I figured this out--what you might have said is to use the export.com link in YOUR reply--that worked. Thank you very much
