Moved to Xfinity Mobile; they say I have no active lines.
I’ve tried calling multiple times. I’ve spent 3 hours on the phone without any rep who seems interested in helping me solve a complicated problem. They mostly just hang up.
- Summer 2025, I experienced a 4 day outage of my Xfinity WiFi. They COMPED me a mobile line for 1 yr to compensate. I continued as a WiFi customer
- Comp ended in July ‘26; I missed it so autopaid for the August mobile (8/29), then called and cancelled the line because I never used it. I had an established number w TMobile
- saw an ad to bundle XF mobile and WiFi and get $40/mo WiFi locked in for 5 years, plus a mobile line free for a year; customer service says I need to cancel my existing WiFi to qualify. Rep transferred me to cancellations, held the line while it was completed, and the call rolled back to him to sell me the promo plan
- I signed up, went thru the verbal consent, and waited for them to port my TMobile #; WiFi had to be connected before I could access the mobile line, so a few days pass
- Set up WiFi and called to port the number; it was a 2 hour struggle with tech support, but they got it done -yay! All set!
- Nope. Get a text my acct is overdue 4 days later. Call to remedy; another hour, because it’s already complicated. I’m assured the August $ due on the cancelled line has been waived and the account cancelled
- Today I got a VM saying my 50% discount has expired, less than a month on the plan
- XF app now says I have a zero balance and NO ACTIVE ACCOUNTS
- I can see in Settings > Cellular > Primary (on iPhone) that Xfinity Mobile is my carrier, and the line is active
- I can see that the previously comped number has no eSIM and is inactive
- WiFi has been ok so far
What on earth do I do? It seems I’m not getting billed for the new plan, which scares me into thinking they’re going to ask for back pay at some point and/or just shut it all down. I’m signed up for autopay with a debit card.
Any advice would be welcome. Thank you!
