My address has received 2 modems to my address, but the names are people I never heard of!
3 weeks ago I received a cancellation notice to my email, but I never cancelled my service. I thought it was a scam so I ignored it. Then 2 weeks ago a box from xfinity arrived in a strangers name to this address, I didn't order any equipment. I tried chatting but could never get a real person. Then, on Friday a letter arrives from Xfinity to this strangers name, at my address! AND, another modem in ANOTHER strangers name arrived at my house! So now I have 2 modems addressed to 2 people I've never heard of here at my house and a bill for one of them! I never changed my services at all, this just happened out of the blue!

Hello @user_hbfbff, and thanks for reaching out to us via the Xfinity Forums. I am very sorry to hear that you have received two different modems to your house for two different people, along with a cancellation notice, but you have reached out to the right team that can take a look at this for you. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

Just want people to know, our local Comcast (Xfinity) office says this has been happening alot lately and they are sure it's some kind of fraud scheme. We took our equipment in and they made sure no one can disconnect our services. Thanks also to XfinityJeff who helped so much!
