I do want to help get the proper expectations set up that there is a difference between scheduling a future payment and a payment arrangement. The account would need to be eligible for a payment arrangement to be set up: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/set-up-payment-arrangement
I do want to investigate further and see what options are available, and had a couple questions that will be helpful:
- When scheduling the future payment, did the account say it was eligible for a payment arrangement? - Did you have a previous payment arrangement set up? - Do you have a bill set to print before the payment date, if so the past due balance will change to the current amount due and the future payment must cover the full past due balance?
