Need to make sure my modem/router is updated in my account

I switched to a faster modem/router and installed it successfully. Just want to make sure it appears in my Xfinity account as my current device, and for my old one to be removed so I can give it away. Thank you!

Good morning @user_i036n4, and thanks for posting your issue to the Xfinity forums, I hope this message finds you well. You have come to the right place for assistance with the modem, we can take a look at the account and make sure the new modem is active. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window, please add your full name and address
• Press Enter to send it
