Neiborhood Pole Extension

I’ve been trying to get accurate information from Xfinity about extending a pole into my neighborhood, and the lack of accountability throughout this process has been unacceptable. I’m requesting clear, documented details: the actual cost, what that cost covers, and the steps involved. My neighbors are willing to share the expense, but they cannot commit without transparent information.

Instead, I’ve received conflicting answers about basic facts—everything from the distance to the existing pole to the estimated cost. I was even told I must commit to a $38,000 contract before receiving any specifics or having a survey completed. That is not a reasonable or responsible way to handle a construction request, and it prevents me from getting my neighbors involved.

I’ve repeatedly asked for direct contact with the engineering team or a phone number for the correct department. Instead, I’ve been passed from one representative to another with no ownership, no follow‑through, and no progress. After nearly 10 years as a customer, this level of disorganization and lack of accountability is extremely disappointing.

I need a direct point of contact—someone who will take responsibility for this request, provide accurate information, and ensure the next steps are handled properly.
