Network enhancements.

7/31, 8/1, 8/4, 8/5, 8/6, 8/8, 8/14 my internet has been down for “network enhancements”. I work from home and this is unacceptable. Now it STILL couldn’t be completed and will be worked on again on 8/21. HOW is this acceptable to do these “upgrades” (I haven’t noticed any difference) in the middle of the work day for DAYS on end?

You can also sign up for text message notifications for the process in your area.

Yes, I get the txt messages, but that doesn’t tell me how long this will continue to go on.

@starlight2205 For the area enhancements it's not easy to predict a resolution time. As you know, it's a construction project, and delays happen for many reasons. I understand it has been a frustrating process for you, and we don't mean for it to be. However, I can assure you our engineering and construction teams are working as quickly as possible to get the upgrades completed to better the network in your area. 

 

Although I know it's not ideal in some situations, please remember you also have free access as a Xfinity internet customer to Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots. Simply look for them in the available network options. Then sign in using your Xfinity ID. Here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet is a helpful article to show you how to access them step-by-step.

I have xfinity mobile as well and when the internet is down I can barely use my phones cell service, let alone connect to an xfinity WiFi hotspot when xfinity is down.
