New construction
I started a move transfer form and had to call. I was told by support on the phone I won’t have internet for two weeks because they’re waiting on “construction to be completed”. Not sure what construction, but we’ll be moving in on 8/15 and I can’t wait 2 weeks for service.
The Xfinity box outside is already there and ready I believe.

Hi @user_tqaag2, as someone that works from home and recently moved a few months ago I know how important the smoothness of this transition is for you. Construction can refer to many things that are required for service to enter your new address, but I would like to confirm what our other teams are seeing. If you could please send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
