New home has no coax outlet

I’m moving to a new home and want to transfer my service, but I noticed there are no coax outlets. I’ve searched on the app and the website to try and schedule an appointment only to keep getting prompted to change my service package with no way to keep my old package. Does Xfinity offer coax installation and if so how do I schedule an appointment?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_07qb3e, and thank you for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum! We appreciate you for wanting to take us with you to your new home! 😀

We’d be happy to help with both the service transfer and your coax outlet concerns. Depending on the home, it may already be prewired and simply require activation, or a technician visit may be needed to install a coax outlet. A technician installation is typically $100, and if you’re renting, property-owner approval may be required for new wiring.

Since you’re also running into trouble transferring your service online without changing your current package, we would like to take a closer look at the new address and the options available for your move. When you are ready, please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to "Xfinity Support". To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

How to Send Us a Direct Message:
