No Internet After Agent Serviced Street Box

I saw an Xfinity truck outside my yard putting a new orange wire on a pole and to the electric box. After that I now have NO internet whatsoever. I work from home so I had to use time and take off, on top of the fact that I’m working an extremely important that I now for certain have missed my deadline on. In addition to that, without internet I no longer have any security measures functioning, which is needed to help combat recent theft and burglary attempts, so now I’m extremely vulnerable and open to anything bad that can possibly happen. There’s nothing I was told to update or ANYTHING.

Hi there @MarvinR, I'm sorry to hear about your service being interrupted. Experiencing a service interruption, especially after seeing our equipment being worked on nearby, can be incredibly frustrating. It's understandable how this would be particularly stressful given that you work from home and rely on your internet for both your job and your home security system.

To confirm, have you checked your account for interruption?

You can view the service interruption by logging into your Xfinity App it would automatically be displayed at the top or you can also check on the status by clicking on https://www.xfinity.com/support/status.

It just says my home internet is offline, and keeps suggesting that I restart my modem/router by unplugging & plugging it back in.
