No service at pole

I moved to a new place and the house is not connected to the service pole. A technician came by and told me that he can see that the lines up at the pole seem disconnected… but he asked me to request Comcast to come out?

Hi Peter, thanks — will use the public forum first next time. I do need help with this please… we have subscribed to the service but with no active line. A technician came to tell us that the tab on the pole seems disconnected. Ever since, I tried so many times to reach the right people and get the right help, but with no avail.

Another technician is scheduled for today but I got a call yesterday evening saying that I need to file a special request… the technician service scheduled is for inside connection issue, again. They gave me a number, but then it is just a regular helpline where the ARS keeps asking me to troubleshoot and just schedule for the same kind of techinician service. One already told us that we need to request “Comcast to come out,” because the tab is disconnected.

There is no active line coming from the service pole to my house…
