Older text message history

Where can I go to view my text message history for the last year? The app will only let me view the past 3 months but I need to view the history from the past year.

Hello @user_eom2sh Thanks for reaching out to our team for help with your mobile account concerns.

My apologies as we only store the last three months of history.

I have a link from our famous help and support website that goes into how to view your call and text history.

There has to be a way for me to access it. I've seen similar messages from people here and on Reddit and the representative was able to accommodate their request.

@user_eom2sh The change was made from six months of history down to three months of history as of October 25, 2024. My apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you.

user_8jbq7q have you tried following the steps for the Xfinity website or app to see if the log is available to review there?

I'm not looking for the log.

I want the actual messages from the log for a specific day.

user_8jbq7q, This is the only way to access these texts from the past 3 months. To access your call and text message history, you can sign in to your Xfinity Mobile account online or use the Xfinity app. However, any details older than three months are not available, and the content of text messages is not stored.

I understand that. How do I get the content of the messages?

I can see when and to who, but I want the actual messages.

user_8jbq7q, you cannot see the actual content of text messages for the past three months. Xfinity Mobile allows you to review call and text message details, including dates, times, and phone numbers, but it does not store the content of any text messages. You can access this information through your Xfinity Mobile account or the Xfinity app, but only for the last three months of activity.
