Orange drop cable still not buried after a month

I still have an exposed drop cable on my property after over a month of no communication from Xfinity unless I call ( and I have called weekly). I have had two appointments set when I called and neither materialized. I tripped over the cable weekend before last and injured myself. Why is your company so unwilling to handle this, to the point that your negligence has caused an injury to your customer? [Edited: "Political"]  I am strongly considering legal action due to the complete lack of accountability or response.

Orange cable still there. No updates. I filed a complaint with the FCC yesterday.
