Thanks for reaching out to us, we do apologize for any inconvenience. This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/statusmap is a great tool where you can view the service interruptions in your area.

Service interruptions can happen for many different reasons as there could be unplanned weather related service interruptions or general overall maintenance, or your area could be getting started for construction on upgrading to the next generation speeds.

 

But the app is a great tool to use because if it is in regards to upgrading your area it should give you information on the app what the service interruption is for.

 

Our teams work hard to get everyone's service back up and running as quick as possible, you can also set up to be notified of when the service is back up and running through the Xfinity app.

 

Also our Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet are great option to use until your services are back up and running.
