Paramount Plus Error Message 3205

Getting this error when trying to watch a show in Paramount plus. It buffers and then gives us this error. Account is under [Edited: "Personal Information"]

According to Paramount, that error code 3205 is typically a streaming or app-related issue, often indicating a problem with your internet connection, outdated app/browser, or unsupported device settings. To resolve it, try restarting your device and router, updating the app and device firmware, ensuring a stable internet connection, and clearing the app's cache. Double-check the cables to make sure they are not loose or damaged. Checking the condition of HDMI cables and swapping them may help as well.

I am getting the same error, how do I update the Paramont+ app?  I did all the other steps.

I too would like to know how to update the app and clear the cache since I'm watching it on my tv.

@user_xpkkub I can certainly help. Samsung smart TVs automatically check to ensure you're always running the latest version of the app and your TV's software You can also manually check for updates to the Paramount+ app:
- Press the Menu button on your remote control.
- Scroll down and select System.
- Select “Check for Updates.

Have been getting the 3205 error for two evenings now… only on Tulsa King season 1 shows. Other Paramount Plus shows work ok despite Paramount Plus being a clunky design. All software is updated, all cables checked, reboots of the xFinity gear and the TV have been done.

Please help!

my comment was reported to Xfinity and Paramount Plus on 29 September. The issue was noticed around 25 September. Since 29 September the entire Paramount Plus access through Xfinity has slowed to being unwatchable for any content.

accessing Apple + through Xfinity works well. To date, no one at Xfinity nor Paramount Plus has responded stating the issue has been resolved.

Having the same issue with Paramount+ reset everything, all cables are good and everything is up to date... I had to stop watching it because none of the shows worked, very irritating

Why can't xfinity fit the problem with Paramount plus.  The standard reply is reboot and check connections.  It appears everyone has done this and problems still exist.    What are the techs doing to FIX (not patch) the problem?
