Peacock activation says account is already linked

I get this error when I try to activate my Peacock subscription and it doesn't matter what email I use. I created a new account with Peacock with a new email and still get the same error that it is already linked to an existing account.

Hello user_ve0mrq! Thank you for reaching out to us for help with accessing peacock, I'm sorry that you are facing this trouble. You found the best team to help out. A common cause I have seen while working with customers is that the recently moved and that is causing an issue in the backend with the accounts. Did you happen to move recently?

I am happy to clear this up for us so that you can enjoy the service. Can you please send us a direct message with your name, service address and email addresses that you have tried so far?

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click "Start new conversation"
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.

For anyone looking for this it is something Xfinity has to fix on their back end. I do not know what they had to do but it was sent to a specific department and the next day I was able to activate my subscription.

user_ve0mrq, We are delighted to hear that you were able to successfully activate the Peacock subscription. 😀 While we have you, do you have any additional concerns or billng issues we can address while you have us? I did a quick glance at the account and see that for $5 more a month and the enrollment of autopayments with a bank account and paperless billing, we have a promotion that would doulbe your internet speed to our 2 Gig speed at $115 x 5 years without a contract. How does this sound?

Can the router you provided actually give a 2 gig output? If so go ahead and apply the change.

user_ve0mrq, Absolutely. The XB8 Gateway can definitely handle the 2 Gig speeds. Sounds good. Before submitting your order, I want to spend a few minutes confirming with you that I’ve accurately captured the services you want. I’ll ask you to review the order, and then if it’s correct, please approve it. I'll now send you a text message at the same number listed on the account for authentication with a link to confirm your order. Message and data rates may apply. This will allow you a 15-minute window for your review and approval upon arrival of the message. Okay?

When you get the text, click the link to open your order summary. Once clicking on the link, you may be prompted with screens before getting to the review page. If the order is correct, please click "I agree" to approve. I will stay with you so you can ask questions. Please stay with me and we'll complete your order. Did you receive that text on your end? Once I finalize the order, you may be left with an internet service interruption for about 3 to 5 minutes.
