Poor customer support trying to activate internet
For three weeks i have been trying to get my internet service activated. The first time i called the customer support number I was told a tech was on the way. On the day of i double checked with the app and was told i had no set appointments. 2nd time i set it through the app and was given a date and time through email and on the day of, my appointment was cancelled without prior notice and i didnt even receive a text or email. I set another appointment and was told i would have to pay a $100 technician fee on top of $60 monthly service bill for a modem i haven't yet got activated. I was on the brink of just cancelling my service but i spoke to the loyalty division i set another appointment and was told the $100 fee would be waived but now the rescheduled appointment i set isnt showing up on the app and im still receiving notifications that a tech is arriving on a day i wont be home. This is really unprofessional and an annoying way to treat a customer who is willing to pay for a service he sees value in. Xfinity is not the only service provider for my neighborhood just the only one im comfortable with.

Good evening Ike002. I can understand your frustration and this is not how we want you to feel. As for the upcoming appointment, another way you may be able to manage the upcoming appointment is by texting APPT to 266278, that should allow you to reschedule it to a time that works best for you. Please let me know if this helps.
