Hi there, @knitter56! The XFINITY Remote app was actually retired back in February and no longer functions, I'm afraid. The alternative option for the app is our awesome web remote. You can find directions on how to use it here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-accessible-tv-remote-web-app
