Remote problem for over a week

I have had a problem with my remote being paired with my TV correctly for almost two weeks now. I have tried what the assistant tells me to on the messenger and it does not work. I have asked to speak to a real person for days with absolutely no help. Everyday I am fighting with it to make it work everyday. I am [Edited: "Language"] I am paying over 300.00 for a service that does not even work. I am ready to cancel my service if this can be resolved.

user_l181d3 Hey there! Thanks for using our Forums and for taking the time out of your day to let us know about the remote issues you are experiencing. Please send us a DM with your name and address so we can jump into this together.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon 
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
  • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
  • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
