Request for Damage Repair to Property Caused by Xfinity Workers
I am writing to formally address an issue concerning significant damage caused to my private property by Xfinity workers who were performing work near my residence on Friday March 7th, 2025 in Richmond Indiana.
Specifically, the workers drove heavy equipment through my yard and down my driveway, entering my backyard, which leads directly to Glen Miller Park. As a result of this, deep divots and significant damage have been left behind on my property. These divots are not something that will resolve on their own and will require professional repair to restore the affected area to its original condition.
I was not informed beforehand that this work would take place, nor was I asked for consent to allow the equipment to traverse my yard. I would have expected prior notice given that my property was being accessed and that significant damage could occur.
I am requesting that Xfinity take immediate responsibility for this damage and arrange for a representative to visit my property at your earliest convenience to assess and repair the damage caused by your workers. I am attaching photos of the affected areas for your reference. Please contact me to arrange a suitable time for your team to address this matter.
I trust that Xfinity values the care and respect of others' property, and I expect prompt action to resolve this issue.
I look forward to hearing from you shortly to confirm how you plan to proceed.

Thanks so much for reaching out and bringing this to our attention—we totally understand how frustrating and upsetting this situation must be. No one wants to look out at their yard and see that kind of unexpected damage, especially when it involves their private property.
While we can’t accept responsibility on behalf of Xfinity directly through this channel, we absolutely want to make sure your concerns are taken seriously and routed to the right team. Can you initiate a direct message and start with your full name and address? To start a direct message, you must be signed in. Please click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right of the page next to the bell, and send your message to "Xfinity Support". Talk to you there!
