Requesting Support: Previous Thread Closed Without Resolution – Ongoing Billing Issue
I’m creating this new thread because my original post regarding a billing issue was closed without any contact or resolution from Xfinity support.
To recap: I’m a senior on a limited income, and I’ve been a loyal Xfinity customer for over five years.
I’ve never missed a payment and have always kept my account in good standing.
Despite this, my initial attempt to get help was met with a dismissive attitude.
I was told there was no way to verify my repeated attempts to reach out, which felt insulting and completely unhelpful.
After much effort, I finally learned the reason for the increase in my monthly bill: a $50 promotional discount had been removed. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the new rate.
I’m looking to explore any current promotions, billing adjustments, or accommodations that could help lower my monthly cost.
I also believe a credit should be applied for the inconvenience, poor customer service, and the amount of time I’ve spent trying to get assistance.
If no resolution can be found and no current promo can be applied, I’ll have no choice but to cancel my service — something I would prefer to avoid, but may be necessary given my budget.
I’m requesting a representative to follow up with me directly via DM so we can finally get this resolved.
Thank you.

Hello @user_7toz0u, and thanks for reaching out to us here for help with looking into new offers. I would be happy to see what new offers we currently have to provide you!
Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
