Scam call [Edited]

I received a call this morning from [Edited: "Invalid Phone Number"]. The person had an Indian, Bangladeshi accent and introduced himself as Matt or something that sounded like that. They had my first and last name, said they were from Comcast and asked me to check my modem first making sure the lights were solid and not flashing. Then they told me they are showing on their end that several Mac computers are using my account and that my account has been hacked. They said they can show me how to fix it on my end if I log into my Xfinity account. I logged into my account. Then they asked me to go to the search bar and type in 'Adminlogin'. I hung up the phone as soon as they said that since I was sure at that time that they were scammers. They called me back again and I declined the call, so they left a voicemail threatening me and saying I have to look for a new provider because I hung up the phone hahahaaa :))))

I contacted Xfinity and reported this to them.

It seems like other people had received scams from this same phone number years ago.. Such a shame some people can't find a better job than stealing from others.

The concern is not "Home Networking" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
