Scam call?

I received a call from [Edited: "Invalid Phone Number"] with the location as New York. The agent asked for me by name and read off to me my address, asking for me to confirm it without telling me who she was calling with or what the call was about. When I asked what the call was regarding she said she was with some agency calling on behalf of Xfinity. I told her I wasn't going to give personal data. She said she wasn't asking me to give personal data, that she already had it, but was asking for me to confirm it. I told her if Xfinity needs to reach me they need to do that directly through my account, and I ended the call.

Was this a scam?
