Service has been out for almost 40 hours now with no updates...

Hi, my service has been out for 39 hours and counting, and there still isnt an ETA on restoration. How can I connect with someone to find out what's going on? I've checked the outage map, and it hasn't changed since the outage began. I can't reach a person trying to call in, or through chat. Help!

Brujah7783, Thanks so much for reaching out to Xfinity Support. I am sorry to hear your service is out. You should be able to check on service issues in your area

by using the Xfinity app. You can also set up a notification to be sent to you once service has been restored.

@XfinityAngie​ There have been zero updates in the app since the outage began on Saturday. That's why im asking.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message
