Service Outage

The internet at my house has been down all day & it's saying it's bc of a power outage, but there are NO power outages in my area. I've been trying, but haven't been able to speak to a live person. I don't want AI. I want a live person to tell me whats going on. Is it just my house? Is it my whole area? As much money as I & everyone else pay monthly, you would think you'd be able to speak to someone to get answers instead of generic AI responses.

Good afternoon user_ufygjq I certainly understand the concern if you are experiencing service issues. I would be more than happy to take a look at your account, and your area to see if we can get to the root of what may be occurring. I will need some additional information.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.

user_ufygjq Hi, we support Facebook, Xfinity Forums, and Reddit so there may be a delay in response depending on current intake--please be patient with us as we receive hundreds to thousands of messages a day. I see your direct message, and is in the process of responding now. We will close out here.
