Service Technician

I had a service technician repair the outside internet line. It was severed. Before elmaking an appointment, I had to pay $99.99 for the technician to come out. I paid a company by the name of Fibernerex. This was 10/20/2025. One 10/27/2025, there is another $20.00 charge. I am trying to get an answer for the 20.00 charge from Xfinity. This was authorized by someone with the email of [Edit: Personal Information] Name is [Edit: Personal Information]

Hello @user_xbl48x, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Whenever there’s a charge for an Xfinity technician visit, the $100 charge is applied to your bill. We’d be happy to review your bill and help identify what the charges are for. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

@XfinityMarshante

I did not know that Xfinity charges the amount to your account. Xfinity Customer service set up a pay pal account on my behalf with my charge card information and charged not only the 99.99 but an additional 20 to Aniruddha Pravin parmar. Your employees are shady. He must be fired for stealing.

We would be happy to go over any charges with you and submit the information regarding the agent you spoke with. If you can please send us a Direct Message with your full name and your full address. We look forward to assisting you.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
