Silicon cover for XR2 remote

My elderly mother keeps losing her black Xfinity XR2 remote against her black furniture. I want to get her a colorful, ideally silicon cover for her remote. But all I can find are covers for the XR15 remote, and they do not fit.

Can you please direct me to a cover that will fit this remote?

Thank you very much for your reply. My mother is in an Assisted Living Community, so unfortunately changing the set top box and remote is not an option. She has to use what they provide.

I’m open to any kind of cover, including 3rd party. It just needs to be bright and it needs to fit.

How about getting one of these Large Button Remotes here at this link for your mother that's a lot harder to lose?

That’s an interesting possibility. Thank you. I can talk to the facility and see if they’d be willing to support it.

Is there any kind of colorful cover for it? The issue is that with her low vision a black remote is difficult for her to see, even if it’s right next to her.

Abdiel2000, Great question. I researched this further and did not see any colorful covers for it. However, the large remote is blue on the sides and the back and has backlit keys that light up. How does this sound?
