Subject: Immediate Safety Hazard: Low-hanging overhead telecom drop line

Hello, I need to open a maintenance/engineering ticket for a physical line hazard at my property.

There is an overhead telecom service line (including Xfinity) spanning my property that has severe mid-span sag. The line is hanging so low in the middle of my backyard that it can be physically touched from the ground, presenting an immediate safety liability.

There is an alternative utility pole located at the back of the property that wraps around. I am requesting a technician site survey to relocate this service drop from its current wide span to the alternative pole to eliminate the clearance hazard. Please let me know how quickly we can get a local field technician out to survey the line.

Dchang735 Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I am really sorry to hear about this. I can understand how concerning it must be to have a line hanging that low on your property, especially with the safety risk it creates. I want to make sure we get this addressed as quickly as possible and have the right team take a look. Please send me a direct message with your full name and service address, so I can get a ticket started and work with our field team to have this inspected.
