Swap out equipment

I think I have old equipment. Is it possible to take my current gateway back to an Xfinity Center and swap it out for something current without being charged?

Hi @user_zwe4nj! Essentially yes, however, you will have to set up your Wi-Fi settings again through the app. The good news is, if you know your current Wi-Fi name and password and 'write that down' before you make the swap, when you get home and activate your new modem using the Xfinity App, you can simply use the same Name and Password in the setup for the new modem and all of your devices should connect to it. However, if you need assistance with that, we're here to help when the time comes and can walk you through it if needed! 😀
