New to Xfinity, got the new gateway. Trying to activate the gateway. Tried to couple of times I get the solid white light instead of blinking Anyway I go to the next step and it’s not connecting. Saying something is wrong

Is the app showing your account details correctly like the service address? There are times I see that customers will access an old account or have the wrong address, and they are stuck in a loop like this.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.

They did service on my street and forgot to reconnect the wire to the pole
