Technician needed to move cable line inside my house

I need to move my cable modem inside my house to another location. Does xfinity offer this service and how much is it?

Hi there, @user_rb5uk7! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. Our technicians can install a new outlet, however it would need to be located at an exterior room where we are able to drill to the outside, and the location would need to be near accessible outside lines. If it is an interior room or if the job would require wall fishing (running lines through walls). You would need to contact an electrician to perform the work. Our cost for installing a new outlet is $100.

@XfinityFrank my question was not answered. We already have several interior cable lines to pick from. The modem is connected to an outlet in a room whereby poor speed is expereienced. We'd like the modem relocated and connected to another cable outlet more conducive to faster and stronger signals.
