Terrible Customer Service, Close My Account

Hello I have tried numerous times to cancel my account. I have not used Xfinity’s services since February so it’s impossible that I owe over $300 and I keep being billed more money every month. I’ve been trying to rectify and/or close this account since I was INCORRECTLY charged $192. I had to dispute this with my bank.

Every customer representative I’ve spoken to has been incompetent.  Either they hang up on me, send me a revised monthly bill of $70 I didn’t ask for, try to force me to pay the astronomically incorrect bill, or don’t provide me the information I need to cancel my account. I was finally just informed today (by another agent who hung up on me) that the price to cancel my contract (which I want out of right now) is $110.
I want a corrected bill with the $110 cancellation fee so that I can finally be dive with this. I am NOT interested in a new plan and will return the modem.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi user_RH20! Sorry you haven't been able to get your account disconnected. I'd be more than a little upset if I was being charged for something I hadn't used for several months. We'd be more than happy to take a closer look and see what we can do to get this fixed for you. Please send us a direct message with your full name, name on the account (if different), and service address, and we'll get started.
To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a live chat.
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3J0ir1l
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
